The magic of Africa - It's something you sense at your first contact with this exciting and so very different continent.

I am enthusiastic about the exoticism of its people, culture and wildlife, the variety of which can only be seen in Sub Saharan Arica.
I am amazed that the tensions between archaic and modern structures are regarded as normal, natural and are accepted  -  this gives an inspiring basis for the emergence of Art.

Despite repeated violent situations, which I do not condone, I cannot turn my back on South Africa because, in my soul, there exists a fascination with the place and a tingling desire to return. It is imprinted in the minds of all those on whom Africa has cast a spell.
