I focus on high quality painting which has an obvious appeal combined with some meaning and the visible presence of a foreign country. I always look for something which offers more than just simple decoration  -   something that captures and haunts those who look at the work  -  something that invites them for dialogue.

It is not just about an object on the wall but about the exotic which draws in the observer and thus becomes more  and  more a means of projecting ideas, causing people to reflect and bring about ever changing moods.
